Baby A (and his cousin K)

Baby A celebrated his first birthday by coming home to America. His mommy is one of my very best friends from childhood. (In fact, I like to think that I helped she and her husband meet.)

She and her husband have always felt led to adopt and Baby A is the result of a long, tiring and miracle-filled journey. I am so thankful that I was able to take his one year pictures- he is such a long-awaited blessing.

Congrats S and A- he is beautiful!

(Oh, in case you are wondering who the adorable little girl is....his cousin, K, had to have her picture taken too- how could I resist those cheeks?)
